Fila Ovalis Earrings

Two different wire profiles come together to make a statement evoking an ancient Roman touch: square wire at the outer edge, twisted wire along the inside.  These earrings extend slightly below the lobe of the ear where a tiny Colombian emerald sits to add interest. 

A Frame Built by Hand

The Fila Ovalis Earrings are hand-fabricated from .925 sterling silver. A square wire border defines the outer edge with architectural clarity. Inside it, a twisted wire frame catches light along every turn, creating depth within a single contained form.

The Colombian emerald is sourced directly. Valerie has a relationship directly with the miner. 

Scale and Presence

At 12mm, these earrings sit close to the lobe. Not overwhelming, but not a small, dainty stud either.  Present in the way that precision is present: you notice it because it is exactly right.

This is not a small earring trying to be modest. It is a complete composition at intimate scale.
